Go Green! Pocket Diaper Review and Giveaway

Let's be honest .... cloth diapering can be a very expensive addiction ... Most of my favorite diapers range from $18-$25 each!  Yes, that is per diaper!!  Honestly, I have become quite a cloth diaper snob ... I always gravitate towards the top of the line pocket diapers!  For me, a good deal on a pocket diaper is $12-14 .... UNTIL NOW!!

GoGreen Pocket Diapers are the new up and coming POCKET DIAPER!!  They provide mom's with a very reasonably priced option that does NOT forsake quality!  GoGreen Pocket diapers range from $8.99-$9.99 each (which comes with 1 microfiber) insert!  Compared to the leading pocket diaper at $17.95, that is almost half price!  She even offers 1 pack, 3 pack, and 12 pack microfiber inserts in addition to the diapers!  If your child is like mine, you need at least 2-3 inserts/diaper to stay dry!!  Even with the extra cost of inserts, this still makes the overall cost of the diaper almost $5/less than the leading pocket!

Now on to the review ....

I was able to pick out any diaper print I wanted .... believe me, this was a hard choice b/c there are so many AWESOME prints available!!  Although, I have to admit, I saw this cow print and just KNEW it was the one! HA!!
All her pocket diapers are snaps and ONE size, meaning they will fit the baby from ~7lbs-35lbs.  One-size diapers rock b/c they are the most cost-effective over the long-term! You only need one set of diapers!
Leah sent me two inserts in the package with my cow print diaper!  The inserts are the length of the largest rise setting on the diaper.  When we use this diaper for our next little one (whenever that time comes), I will just fold down the insert to fit on the shortest rise!

Here is a close up of the pocket.  You just stuff as many inserts in the middle as you need!  This diaper was VERY easy to stuff and prepare!  I even had 4 inserts in it at one time (for night) and it didn't look overstuffed!   We had great success with this diaper!  No messes, no leaks!  The snaps are of excellent quality, telling me the diaper is going to last through at least two kiddos!!  Two things I would like to see in their next diaper are a second row of snaps and hip snaps!  Other than that, I am very happy with the design!

Note the elastic all the way around the pocket!  Great feature!
Sophia LOVED wearing her "Cow" diaper!  Actually, each time I put on a diaper, she says, "cow diaper peeeease mama!"  I LOVE how cute diaper FLUFF can be!!  Even the kiddos are addicted! HA!!
(Sorry there isn't a picture of her wearing it ... you don't know how incredibly hard it is to get her to pose for a picture these days! Agh!)

The customer service over at GoGreen was incredible!  I was very impressed with Leah's sweet character and generosity!   I knew that with excellent customer service that meant the diaper quality must be incredible! I was not incorrect in my assumption!  For me personally, customer service is HUGE!  You make me smile and happy, I will support you and purchase from you!  Easy as that!!

If you are curious what the diapers are made of  .... check out this info from her website:
What are your diapers made of?

The exterior of our diapers is made of a 100% polyester knit or a soft, fuzzy napped material lined with a thin, flexible water-proof polyurethane laminate on the inside (PUL, for the diaper enthusiasts). This hidden waterproof film keeps moisture from leaking out, yet still allows air flow to your baby's skin, and allows the fabric to feel nice and soft on the outside (unlike plastic diaper covers). Some of our diapers are silky-smooth and some of them are fuzzy on the outside. Inside, our diapers are lined with soft fleece, which is gentle against your baby's skin and feels dry since moisture is pulled through the fleece and into the pocket by the microfiber inserts. Each diaper comes with one super-absorbant insert that is made from 3 layers of microfiber terry-cloth. The insert can be placed inside the pocket of the diaper (between the shell and fleece lining) or can be placed outside the pocket on top of the lining. When used like this, you have the option of simply changing the insert rather than the whole diaper for smaller messes.

I am so thankful to Leah for allowing me to review this diaper!!  I LOVE IT and will recommend it to all my cloth diapering friends!!  Better yet, for you all, she is offering a pocket diaper of your choice to the winner!  Off all those prints, which ONE would you choose!! (I know, it is hard!)

Hi! Thanks for the great giveaway. Their diapers look awesome and a great price!!

I'm a new follower. LOVE your blog!

As for the form entry - I've tried both too. As a person entering I think it depends on the blog and how the comments are set up and such. I probably do more extra entries this way.
