Firefly Toothbrush Review

As as kid, I never wanted to brush my teeth!  It just wasn't "fun!"  This most likely is the reason I had 6 cavities at one time during a trip to the dentist!  Believe me, after that, I brushed my teeth whether I liked it or not!!

Sophia, on the other hand, loves brushing her teeth!  She was allowed to pick out her tooth brush, of course she chose Elmo!  (Remember this post, Elmo is the king in our house!)  Although, I have to admit, I am not very good about remembering to brush her teeth!  She is usually the one that reminds me!!  I was thinking to myself, how can I solve this problem?  Easy solution: I need another toothbrush to keep in my bathroom as a reminder!!

How perfect the timing when I was sent this super cool new FIREFLY toothbrush!   It has a 1 minute timer light for the kids to guide them to the proper brushing length!  Although, remember it is recommended to brush your teeth for two minutes!! :)

Just push up on the bottom of the toothbrush to trigger the light feature!

Hum ... I like this toothbrush!

A woman after my own heart ... multi-tasking already ... talking on the "pretend" phone, brushing her teeth, holding a cup of "pretend" water!

No I am not drugged ... this is the amazing relaxing power of the toothbrush!! (Ha!)
Overall, I am very impressed with the toothbrush!  The bristles were very soft, yet firm.  Sophia LOVED brushing with her new toothbrush!!  She was quite intrigued by the light!!  I have a feeling we will have a battle when it comes time to stop brushing and put it away!  Although, I guess that is a good problem to have, huh?

Would you like one for yourself?  Check out this store locator to find one in your area!  Meijer, Target, Big Lots, Walmart, and Walgreens (to name a few)!!

Also, check them out on Facebook!

Hello There!

Just stumbled across your site, as I'm looking for articles with info about new 'big sisters' for a friend with a toddler and new baby :)

As far as this toothbrush, well, methinks: Not so 'Green' with the timer. One more thing that was produced using resources, and will take energy to be disposed of, and what about it's end of life cycle?

Have you seen 'Radius' toothbrushes? They are still BPA-free plastic for kids, but they do have very energy-conscious production facilities in the US. And one of their adult toothbrushes 'Source' has a good re-usable handle, and you just replace the head. I like them because the bristles are soft.
