Little Green Books Review and Giveaway

GO GREEN with Little Green Books!!  Catchy, isn't it?

This month, I have had the incredible opportunity to work with Erin over at Little Green Books!  First of all, they have impeccable customer service and such enthusiasm for "going GREEN" and "teaching GREEN!"   What a great message for our kids!!

First of all, their website is amazing!!  You have to go check it out!  I just spent over an hour on it preparing to write this review!  It has activities for kids of all ages!  They have fun Little Green Games.  Sophia really enjoyed the computer interaction and all the bright colors!  Plus they are an awesome teaching tool!  They have a section of downloadable activities on the site related to the books, which provide great additional resources for moms interested in sharing more lessons with their children.  You can print out all of the activities to save them for excellent inside cold weather fun!  Check out the Arctic Maze and the Bumblebee in a Tree Recycling Craft!  I can't wait for Sophia to get older so we can make more of these awesome crafts!

They also have a Green Glossary that defines all of the "GREEN" terminology in words that our kids can understand!  I love how they are bringing healthy "green" practices right to our children!!

At the top of the home page, you will find a link for their blog!  Head over there for monthly green tips, ideas from kids, resident expert Q&A's, and recipes!  You can also sign up for their RSS Feed!

Last but not least, you will find their section of Little Green Books!  There you will find 13 "Green" books for kids of all ages!  One of my favorite ones, The Adventures of a Plastic Bottle!  How many of us drink bottled water?  Do we really know what happens to that bottle when we throw it out?

Erin graciously sent me four books to review!  Two of them are "lift-the-flap" board books which are Sophia's favorite right now.  All of their books are made of excellent quality, 100% recycled materials, and they use 100% vegetable-based ink.  She has a blast looking under the flaps on each page.  The best part about all four of these books, she is having fun learning about proper care of the environment and healthy practices for our family!

Ok, so are you ready for the exclamation marks to come out?  (I was recently criticized on my blog for my overuse of exclamation marks, but I am a very emotional and excited person!  It is hard to show your enthusiasm for a great product through the computer ... so I do so with exclamation marks! HA!)

I am extremely impressed with this company and their products! I HIGHLY recommend them to ALL my readers!!! You will be very impressed when you receive your books in the mail!  They would make excellent stocking stuffers for your kiddos or great affordable gifts for your friend's children!  The education they provide is PRICELESS!!  Head on over right now ... check them out! :)
